The main objective of the career talk was to sensitize on the importance, functions and policy of the placement service and also to guide the students on career choices.

The event kicked off at around 10:00am with opening remarks from the host Careerlink Afrique who invited representatives from various institutions for a brief presentation of their institutions.

After a key note address by various institutional representatives Mrs. Margaret Adura from KUCCPS was welcomed to give an insight on the placement service.

Thereafter we moved to various institutional tents for an interactive session with the students whereby we were able to elaborate further about the placement service and respond to their queries.

It came to our attention that majority of the students, parents and teachers are not aware of the placement service.

The career fair was very vital because it broadened the understanding of the students, parents and teachers on the placement functions, procedures and policies.

Through the event we were able to address misconceptions held about the placement service.
