Placement Service CEO John Muraguri Receives Doctorate Degree

NAIROBI, December 14, 2017

The Commonwealth University has awarded Mr. John Muraguri, the Chief Executive Officer of the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service, an honorary Doctor of Public Administration Degree in recognition of his contribution to Kenya’s education sector.

 The award was conferred to Mr. Muraguri during a Leadership Summit held in Dubai on December 14, 2017.

In the citation, the university referred to his service in the sector spanning over 35 years, covering his career at the University of Nairobi, the Joint Admissions Board and as the founding CEO of the Placement Service.

The Placement Service Board and Management wish to congratulate Mr. Muraguri on this recognition which has, by extension, brought honour to the Placement Service.
