Placement Service Distances itself from Social Media Posts

Nairobi, August 7, 2017

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service wishes to distance itself from Facebook posts that are being circulated online endorsing a presidential candidate in tomorrow’s General Election. The Facebook Page containing the posts, KUCCPS News, does not belong to the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service.

As required by public policy, the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service is and will always be apolitical.

Further, the Placement Service wishes to state that it only communicates through authorised mass media and its official digital channels namely its website www.kuccps.ac.ke, Facebook Page Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service and Twitter Handle @KUCCPS_Official. We wish to urge the public to verify any information from other sources before circulating it.

We wish all Kenyans a successful, peaceful and credible General Election.

J. M. Muraguri,

Chief Executive Officer
