On May 6, 2018, the Placement Service team was at Timbila High School, Taita-Taveta County, for student career guidance and mentorship. The main objective was to create awareness on the functions of the Placement Service, educate the students on career choices and sensitise their teachers on the current career trends and empower them to provide effective career guidance to the learners.

The forum targeted students in Forms Two, Three and Four for sensitisation on what consider when applying for degree, diploma and certificate courses through KUCCPS. They were also sensitised on the common mistakes students make when selecting courses. Finally, they were given a chance to ask questions in a Q&A session.
