Release of the 2016/2017 Placement Results

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service has officially released the 2015 KCSE Candidates placement results. The results were presented to higher education stakeholders on Friday July 1, 2016 at the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development in Nairobi.

The Placement Service has begun sending out text messages directly to the Candidates informing them of the programmes and institutions where they have been placed. The Candidates may also access the information by logging in to the online application portal students.kuccps.net.

This year, 74,046 students have been placed in Degree programmes, while 12, 038 have been placed in Diploma programmes. They are expected to receive admission letters and related information from the respective institutions where they have been placed.

The results were released during the Placement Service’s 5th University and College Education Stakeholders, which was attended by a representative of the Cabinet Secretary in the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology Dr. Fred Matiang’i, Vice-Chancellors, Registrars and other stakeholders.
