KUCCPS Joins Stakeholders for Koitaleel Samoei University College Open Day

KUCCPS continues to undertake mobilisation for university and college applications across Kenya. At Koitaleel Samoei University College in Nandi County, Chief Executive Officer Dr. Agnes Mercy Wahome joined stakeholders for the institution’s inaugural Open Day held on April 20, 2026. 

The event brought together higher education stakeholders including the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) and Universities Fund, which were represented by Chief Executive Officers Mr Geoffrey Monari and Dr Edwin Wanyonyi respectively. The event was hosted by the College Principal, Prof. Winston Akala.

The Open Day attracted 430 Form Four leavers from neighbouring counties, providing them with a valuable opportunity to engage with institutions and explore pathways for higher education and career development. 

Also in attendance were representatives from Eldoret National Polytechnic and Bio-Kenya, enriching the diversity of information and guidance available to learners.

Thereafter, the delegation toured the ongoing construction of the university's main campus in Nandi Hills.
